Heartbreak and healing

by singlemomseeking on March 14, 2011

If you’re in San Francisco, please come out on St. Patrick’s Day — for Inside Storytime!

I’m reading at Cafe Royal with these local awesome authors on Thursday, March 17, 6.30 – 8.30 p.m:

Scott Landers (Coswell’s Guide to Tambralinga)

Hyla Molander (Drop Dead Life)

Salvatore Zoida (Bucolic Apologia)

Meghan Thornton

The night will be MCed by James Warner (All Her Father’s Guns).

I’m going to read about getting back on my feet as a single mom: how I left New York City with my two-year-old to move back to northern California. Or, I should say: we moved in with my Dad in San Francisco for a few months while I got my bearings. Eventually, I got a job and my own apartment — and a couple of single mom friends (thank goodness).

Hyla Molander will read about scattering the ashes of her late husband, Erik. (They got married on March 17.) Her new husband will be in the audience, listening.

~~~
That’s a silly publicity shot that was taken for a book release story — those two guys were married and, yes, that baby peed on me.
Sounds like a good time! I wish I could make it too, as long as there is no mandatory photo shoot with a naked baby, that is.
Good Book! All girls even if they’re single but not mom will surely relate on some of the topics in this book.
