I could totally go with a nice beach view too though...for sure. I'd love more than anything to have the space/time/supplies to PAINT a painting that big...that just would be heavenly. I don't know what I'd paint, but I'd start with a yellow background I think, then maybe paint blue over it. Tres therapeutic! But, I would have it given to her to put above her bed. She's a single mom of 2 teenage girls and has been thru a lot in her life, not just with the struggles of being a single parent but medical issues she has faced with herself and her daughter. She has a condition which causes her to have a depleted immune system and her youngest daughter suffers from a malformation of the brain. But, neither her or her daughter let the medical issues they face control their lives. This family is very special to me they all three have a caring and loving heart and none of them would ever ask for help but are always giving of themselves and give what ever they may have to offer. I doubt my friend would even accept a gift like this but I know in my eyes and in my heart that her and her girls deserve it. I would have a picture of my friend and her daughters.
