The Winners! How to Sleep Alone in a King-Size Bed and Panties from HerRoom.com
Back to school means that mommy is playing catch up. (Did you think I was catching up with that guy in the photo, to the left? If only I knew what his face looked like, maybe I could find him –) So, here goes:
Let’s start with the winner of Theo Nestor’s memoir, How to Sleep Alone in a King-Size Bed, shall we?
Remember when I’d asked you: What has been the most challenging part about sleeping alone in a king-size bed?
“Single Mommy” wrote about the fact that sleeping alone was challenging — in fact, it got her to join a divorce support group. (Good for you, mama!)
“For me the hardest part has been not having someone to share the worrying with,” added Single Mommy.
And you’ve got to love her last line:
“As for my king size bed, I have a guard on one side so my three year old can climb in and wont roll off. Since the separation I’ve gotten a new dog and he sleeps on the other side of the bed.”

Amy Nathan – who wrote “Granny panties are my friend!” — really deserves a new pair of panties.
“I do like patterns and have a rainbow of colors, but I’m covered, let’s say, from stem to stern,” she wrote oh-so-honestly. “As for a thong — I’m at the age where frankly, that’s a shoe.”
New SMS reader Restaurant Refugee wrote:
“Jockey stopped making my favorite style several years ago - a long biker short cut with a horizontal pouch. Now I am partial to drawstring boxer briefs from Champion.”
Frankly, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a pair of drawstring boxer briefs. (As you know, things didn’t get that far with the UPS man.)

I love your site and will have to get your book. As for panties, I prefer the sploggi’s I got in Europe - they are so comfy and don’t ride up. But I also got a great thong that doesn’t scratch at Target.
My favourite panties always come from Jacob’s lingere (It may only be in Canada, I’m not sure)
All their undergarments fit so perfectly, aren’t itchy and look amazing.
