One® Condoms design contest! Will you help me be the judge?

Update: The winners are in! Check them out here. And thanks to ALL of you for your input!

~~~~
How did I get hooked into this one? Oh, yes, I remember now. One Condoms offered to be a sponsor of Single Mom Seeking.
And although there’s no dinero in this deal, One Condoms has made some really cool personalized condom tins, which I get to give away at readings! Here’s what the tin looks like (and, yes, Dad’s House, you will get a fancy one!)
So, yours truly is on the One® Design Contest Judges’ Panel! This is where you – my innovative, creative, smart, sassy readers — come in.
Below are some my favorite images — a few of which could appear in the next series of One® Condoms….
The designers have campaigned for their designs, the public has voted for their favorites, and now it’s time for the final review!
Here are the judging some criteria:
1. Rated PG-13 - These images will appear will be sold retail organizations and available to all non-profit organizations, which means that little eyes will see them
2. Imagery - The cornerstone of any great design is visual impact, right?
3. One-Liner - Funny, inspirational, witty, ironic and sexy?
Here are my favorites so far. Thoughts? Feelings? Reflections? Let’s hear them.
  1. I love the One Stripe - that is awesome! And I love the Takes One to Make One!!! Brilliant! Those two are my favorites.
    I also like the couple with the red heart. Cute.
    The One Love with the candy hearts is pretty cute too!
  2. One night stand. That’s it hands down. Pocket one is okay but it takes minute to get it. Too long to decide to use it. Don’t get into one is counterintuitive. One love is too cute. You might be thinking it’s a tin of candies.
    So yeah, one night stand. Admit one? Annoying.
  3. The hearts is great…I like that it looks like a box of candy or candle
    Love the 8 ball…the innuendos of pocket pool or behind the 8 ball is perfect
    Night stand, while adorable, is out…girls always think it is best to bring the guy to their place..wrong
    Pickles and Admit One too blatant…not clever enough for me..although I can see how some may love it
    Dump the photos of people please
    Takes One is brilliant however those who don’t get it will love the pickles.
    One Stripe is clear and concise, I would go for that one as well
  4. ……but I don’t have opinions
  5. I read this post this morning and then thought about! The “dont get into one” one keeps standing out for me!
    But I like the heart one - sort of implies a sentimental take on sex!
  6. I get a designer tin? How fun! As for designs - the ones with people are great. I like the heart painted on the bodies of the two people kissing, and love the couple going at it on the beach (a topless woman in jeans - yum)
  7. One Night Stand…catchy, cute and straight to the point. Even if my kids could read, they would never know what it means and it is not too sexual.
  8. Funny: I tried my best to pick images that might appeal to both men and women. Quite tricky.
    I thought women would like the “One Stripe” and “One Night Stand” (well, because I did.)
    I agree with Judy about the photos of people… and so far, I think that “Takes One to Make One” is one of my favs.
    Keep those votes comin!
  9. What a HOOT!!!
    I like them all…will put more thought into my vote when I’m not supposed to be doing school. *sigh*
    Anyways…very cool.
  12. Takes one to make one and the one with the pregnancy test really stand out.
    When I saw the one with the pool balls - I didn’t even notice the 8 ball. I saw the blue ball right away and thought “yeah buddy - if you don’t use this condom you’re gonna wind up with blue balls tonight” If I were a man - that would be motivation to wrap it up.
  13. i like the “Takes one to make one” - too funny
  14. I really like “One Stripe” and “Takes One To Make One.” I would buy multiple tins of both.
    I have never seen One condoms. Any idea what retailers stock them?
    (Found out about your blog today via Matt/Madeline’s blog, love it!)
  15. Hi Gina,
    One® Condoms are available in a number of retail stores, including Walgreens, Shoppers Drug Mart (Canada) Meijer, Albertsons, Publix, Kerr Drug, Fred Meyer, and Eckerd.
    If you don’t happen to have one of those stores in your area, you can also purchase at OneCondoms.com, Costco.com, ripnroll.com and a number of other online retailers.
    Thanks for your interest!
