And the winners are…
Here are the winners of Choosing You: Deciding to Have a Baby on My Own, by Alexandra Soiseth, who wanted a husband, children, dogs and cats, and a loving, home. But at 39, with no husband on the horizon, she decided to take matters into her own hands: she googled for sperm.
Little Man’s Mom was the first to respond, very articulately, about the “two wonderful men” in her sons life. Little Man’s grandpa took him under “his wing from day one. There is no mistaking the incredible bond between the two. Although my father is a very busy man, he always makes time for my little man.”
Also, her sister’s ex-boyfriend “continues to take a ‘big brother’ role with my little guy. They see each other about once a month or so and have a special day together.”
Mom2Maddie lives faraway from her family, but she has made quite an effort to surround her daughter with good friends who “have become our family.” This is when her daughter gets the chance to bake, bike ride, and learn about country music.
