Ms. Single Mama (middle) and Morgan (right) from iheartsingleparents took a break from their video-making adventures to brave the windy hills of San Francisco with yours truly in search of beer on tap — but this is in Nob Hill, where most of the bars are very fancy-shmancy and mixed drinks are the theme.
Alaina traveled all the way from Ohio, and Morgan came down from Portland, Oregon. Welcome to the Bay Area, single moms!

This is just super! Those are some hot single mamas!
You guys are too cute! So glad you got to meet up and clearly, you had a blast!
I’m wondering: do you think there is at least one single mama blogger in every state? Here we are, from California, Oregon, and Ohio.
I know single mom bloggers in Texas, Washington, New York, Florida… How about the midwest? I’m curious.
Adorable all of you! Did you ever think of a TV show called “Single Moms Seeking”?
I think it would be a hit!!
It was lovely meeting you Rachel! Had such a great time … our video adventures are all going to be up soon!
And yes, we should find single moms in every state! IHearSingleParents (Morgan) is working on hosting single parent events across the country so stay tuned for that everyone!
You guys are gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing part of your adventure with us. Looking forward to seeing more of the 3 hot mamas!!
I’m here from Texas. Representin’!
Rachel!
So great for all of us to hang out. What a funny video we made walking down that hill. I hope that gives single moms (and dads) everywhere a little smile and laugh. More to come! And yes, like MsSingleMama mentioned, iHeart will soon be hosting events around the country for rockn’ single parents =)
Thanks again,
Morgan
What a fun way to spend a weekend! Sounds like it was fun.
FUN!!!!
Single moms need to hook up with the single dads imo
I definitely left my heart in San Francisco.
You should have invited some single dads from the blog-osphere like David from DadsHouseBlog.
You are all breathtaking super single mamas- kudos to you for bringing sexy back!
I completely agree with Dan and Ms. Single Mama-you have to bring the party to every city- single parents everywhere need you!!!
What Men Think:
Without naming names, one of the moms said she wanted to have a women-only get together.
David would have loved to join us, but I know he was out of town.
Don’t ask me how Jim got in the middle of it all, but I’m sure he basked in all the attention.
Come out here and find your heart!
Actually, I was in town… ah, life.
Hey Rachel!
Two things:
First off, I think it is great you guys got together - and you all three look fabulous!
Secondly, I’m here in the midwest - Indiana to be exact. I used to blog on babycenter by journaling Sadie’s first year of life and then just kept going - and still do (although things got very messy here this spring with my ex and I am very slow on entries right now) - but moved all to another site as well. http://www.shewasjustawish.blogspot.com
I’ve been to San Francisco once and loved it. Hopefully Sadie and I will make it back one day.
Why does it seem there are so few of these single mom connections here in New England?
Shannon- New Englanders were very private people from my experience, thought most of my mom’s closest friends were kick-ass single moms! Out here in Colorado, if you drive a 4-Runner while sportin’ a carseat, you’re probably a single mom, or a mom with a cool hubby.
Single moms from New England, where are you? Speak up, women!
