I really urge all of you here to get Robert’s book, I couldn’t put it down. If the hardcover is a lot for you to cover right now, ask your library to order it. It’s a very important book.

What an inspirational story! I am a single parent of a beautiful healthy 3 yr old boy. Never imagined I’d be in this alone but life throws many unexpected curve balls at you and we all try to get by the best we can.

LIke Robert, no matter how tough things get, when I see my boy, all my troubles seem to melt away and I find a sense of renewed energy to continue this life journey for my son.

I know we are a very small group in terms of overall statistics for single parents (I believe it’s for every 9 single custodial mothers, there 1 single custodial father), but I think what we lack in numbers, we make up for it in dedication. Not to toot my own horn, but I think it takes a special man to take on the responsibility of single parenthood.
