Shameless self-promotion, the Spitzers, and the McCartney divorce

heather-mills.jpgIf you haven’t read Random Esq’s post today, apparently I made him trip down a flight of stairs yesterday. Not on purpose. I swear!

This “random attorney” — who doesn’t have a single mom girlfriend, but sure has a lot of single mom fans — was reading my email on his cell phone when he was “heading downstairs through the back way of my condo building… I glanced at my phone and saw an e-mail from Single Mom Seeking about blogging. I opened up the e-mail and started to read just as my heel missed the first step down on a flight and…down I went.”

In more fortunate news, I recently got to be the “It” girl at Sassy Bean — in between Dancing With The Stars Elizabeth Shannon and TLC’s Stacy London, Fashion and Style Guru.

This kind of thing (not that it happens often, ha ha!) catches me off guard. I was such a nerd in high school. I was that awkward kid who got straight As and wouldn’t let the cheerleaders cheat off me during the history tests. Yes, they did taunt me the rest of the day.

But enough about me!

Check out my BabyCenter post today about sending some support to Silda Spitzer and her three daughters.

Tell me: Do you have any forecast about what will happen to this marriage? Would you encourage Silda and her daughters to go their own way? What would you do?

My BabyCenter colleague Carolyn Robertson writes about Heather Mills’ 50 million divorce settlement from Paul McCartney.

Carolyn also gives an update about the former lingerie model apparently dumping a glass of water on the head of McCartney’s lawyer.

On her website yesterday, Heather Mills said:”I am looking forward to moving on with the rest of my life with Beatrice…. My recent experiences, although very painful, increases my enthusiasm for I am first and foremost a mother of a wonderful four year old daughter.”

Let’s hope that McCartney and Mill’s daughter — along with Silda and Elliot’s daughters — have the most normal, healthy lives possible.

Don’t you agree?

Great interview there, for sassybean. I was going to leave a “hubba hubba” comment but thought that might not be entirely appropriate.

I’ve vowed to sit down and sit still if I get any more e-mail from you. And not open any if driving.
