… consider this your personal invite to this Saturday’s Litquake in San Francisco.
I’m reading on Saturday, October 13, at 6 p.m. in “Real Life: Memoir Authors Tell It Like It Is.”
(Last year, I read during “Mommy Lit,” and this year it’s “Real Life.” Hmmmm, does that mean I’m growing up?)
Where? Double Dutch, 3192 16th Street, Be: Valencia and Guerrero
Other writers include: Clane Hayward, Alan Kaufman, Scott Keneally, Bridget Kinsella, Max Valerio…. Please know that it’s a special night: 200 authors will be reading in 35 different venues in the Mission, until 9 p.m. Here’s the schedule.
P.S. Parking will be crazy. Take BART to 16th and Mission BART station, only a few blocks away.
P.P.S. Are you a single mom who was dating while you were lactating? (Yes, you read that right!) I’m reading on Saturday about dating while I was still breastfeeding (”Uh, excuse the leaking left breast”) and I’d love to hear from other single moms who might have been there! Please write and tell me your experiences.
